The Postgraduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography (Asia) - DMU (Asia), is a leading qualification to train Sonographers in Malaysia and the qualification is recognized in Malaysia, Australia and internationally. The ultrasonography program is an intensive 12 month career course of study providing both educational and clinical experience. The integrated externship includes a thorough familiarization with routine diagnostic exams in specific areas such as: obstetrics, gynecology, normal and abnormal abdomen, cardiovascular thorax, pediatrics and small parts imaging (thyroid, breast, male and female anatomy). Specialized instruction of ultrasound physics and instrumentation are also taught in the beginning of the session. The clinical experience can be spent in many different locales where sonography is utilized, including departments of local hospitals, private-practice physician offices and out-patient facilities.

Our Diploma of Health Science programmes are aimed at providing SPM and Pre-U leavers for a direct entry into highly skilled allied health professions. Our graduates can progress towards Bachelor programmes in several renowned universities and build careers in medical sciences, nursing, radiography, sonography, biotechnology and others.
